Every survivor, fighter, caregiver, family member, and loved one carries a story that can encourage someone else, increase awareness, and inspire hope.

"My breast cancer journey has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but it has also been one of the greatest testimonies of God’s strength and faithfulness. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion, but I never stopped believing that God was with me every step of the way.

Through every appointment, treatment, difficult day, and challenge, God gave me the strength to keep going. Looking back, I can truly say that what was meant to break me only made my faith stronger.

I am grateful to be here today—not because the journey was easy, but because God carried me through it. My story is a testimony of faith, strength, perseverance, and God’s grace. I am a survivor, and I will continue to give God all the glory for bringing me this far.

I could not have made it through this journey without God, my children, and the unwavering love and support of my village!"

Prevention is our pink promise

Prevention is key to a healthier future. By taking proactive steps like regular screenings, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and knowing your body, you empower yourself to detect issues early and reduce your risk!
Signs of breast cancer to watch for:

  • A new lump or mass in the breast or underarm area.
  • Swelling in all or part of the breast.
  • Skin changes like dimpling, redness, or flaky skin.
  • A nipple that pulls inward or has unusual discharge.
  • Any change in the size or shape of the breast.
  • Persistent pain in the breast or armpit. 

It's important to talk to a doctor about any new or concerning symptoms. Early detection is a key part of successful treatment.

Frames & Fame: Stronger Together 2026 is an intimate fashion and visual storytelling experience created to bring our community together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Presented by Frames & Fame Events in partnership with New Mt. Zion AME Church and Zion Cares, the evening will blend fashion, purpose and powerful storytelling through an elevated runway presentation and recognition of those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
Take a moment to visit our Tree of Triumph and write a note on a ribbon, or tag and hang it upon our Tree of Triumph.

This tree is a growing testament to every life touched by breast cancer—a place where we celebrate thrivers, caregivers, and lovingly remember those we have lost. As our community’s messages grow, so does our collective strength. Every note matters. Every heart is connected.
We encourage you to support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative! Join the community for the Making Strides Walk on Sunday, October 25th, beginning at 1:30 PM at Cascades Park. You can show your support by participating in the walk and/or making a donation through Givelify.

Join us for Pink Out Sunday as we come together in faith to celebrate courage, honor the journey, remember legacies, and inspire hope. Wear your pink as we stand in love and support of those impacted by breast cancer.

United in Sisterhood - Unstoppable in the FighT

Breast Cancer & Black Women
Black women face a significant breast cancer disparity. Although diagnosed at similar rates, Black women are about 38% more likely to die from breast cancer than White women. This reality makes awareness, appropriate screening, early detection, and access to quality care especially important.

Through Faces of Faith: Every Story Brings Awareness, we encourage Black women to know their risk, listen to their bodies, advocate for their health, and inspire others through awareness and hope.
